Description: The following can be found at https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/articles/parking-enforcement *** Footway (pavement) parking Where parking restrictions are marked on the road, for example yellow lines, those restrictions also apply to the footway (pavement). Therefore parking tickets (PCNs) can be issued to vehicles which are parked in contravention of the restrictions. Footway (pavement) parking is not permitted at any time along the length of urban clearways and parking tickets (PCNs) can be issued to vehicles parked in contravention. Apart from urban clearways, there is no general ban on footway (pavement) parking. Where there are no parking restrictions marked on the road, parking tickets (PCNs) cannot be issued to vehicles on the footway (pavement). If, however, a problem of obstruction arises as a result of vehicles parked on a footway, that situation is a matter for, and can be dealt with by, the PSNI. **** This Location is the busy a46 running through stroud and a clearway and therefor parking on this particular pavement IS illegal. The owner of this car is a frequent nuisance to locals trying to park on narrow roads and the police have been called to his house because of it. And here he is, blatently breaking the law by parking on a pavement with parking restrictions and making it so that wheelchairs would either have to wait for his selfish self to move after buying his morning beers or brave going around on a busy a46. what a HALFWIT he truly is.
Know someone who can't park? Place a flyer on their window shield and let them know that they're a Selfish Parker
