Description: | Regularly parks on pavements, particularly all weekend when the vehicle is not used. This pavement is used by children to access the park, disabled wheelchair users, sight-impaired with guide dogs, parents with prams. The driver parks facing oncoming traffic, displays no parking lights at night and regularly parks across the dropped kerb. He says he can as the kerb is not providing access to the gardens (on both sides of the road). Obviously not read the 2011 rules re:dropped kerbs - 'to provides access off the pavement for wheelchairs'. Have been onto his bosses but the practice still continues. He thinks he can park, on the other side of the roadway, across a dropped kerb. When challenged he blames everyone else for parking outside their own properties. HE doesn't NEED to bring his van home. |
